We grow Turpentine Variety mango from seeds. These are special variety for using as root stock. These are not grafted mango plants. The purpose of these mangoes is to enjoy the look of the plant and the leaves.
These plants can be grown in 7 gallon pots to produce leaves. Mango leaves have medicinal and cultural significance. Grow abundant leaves to decorate the home or just to be around them. The air that passes over mango leaves is nice.
They may produce fruit over many many years but highly unlikely considering the growing conditions in USA in colder areas. So, do not expect fruits.
The plant is in a 1 Gallon pot and will be about 2 ft height with thick stem and well rooted. This can be planted into ground as is in areas the weather permits growing Tropicals. Other areas, grow them in 7 gallon pot. Move them indoors when temperature goes below 50F

Top of the tree may be bent for fitting in the box. Tree may shed leaves due to shipping shock.
We believe in pruning main trunk at 2ft to encourage branches. We let 3 secondary branches grow and prune then when they reach 2ft length. 3rd level branches can be grown upto another 2ft. This helps the tree to be maintained as short and with good bushy canopy.

Keep the tree in shade for couple of days and water once you receive it. Plant it into ground or bigger pot after 2-3 days.
Use well drained nutrient rich potting mix as potting medium.
It’s a tropical tree and needs to be maintained above 70F temperature for it to thrive. It can’t take cold. Please buy this only if you are experienced with tropical trees growing.
